Variety: 100% Chardonnay

Description: Arhonto Chardonnay is a is a fresh, pale lemon colored wine, with pronounced aromas of citrus, banana and pear, supported by notes of minerality, expressing well the site where the majority of our chardonnay grapes are grown. This is a medium-bodied, dry wine with pronounced acidity and a sweet, fruity finish
Production: Arhonto Chardonnay is produced from grapes grown at three different sites around Podgorica. The majority of the grapes are grown in Gornji Crnci, where we exclusively grow Chardonnay at 400 meters above sea level. Once picked, the grapes were processed cold and underwent a short maceration. Fermentation and short sur-lie aging are completed exclusively in stainless steel tanks. This wine is meant to be consumed fresh and was not made for extended aging.

Alcohol: 13.0%
Description: Arhonto Rosé is a fresh, light copper colored wine, with pronounced aromas of strawberries and peach, supported by notes of orange-peel and grapefruit. This is a light-bodied, dry wine with a mellow acidity. Its’ finish is sweet and floral.
Production: Arhonto Rosé is made from grapes grown at two sites, Rogami and Beri. Once picked, the grapes were processed cold and gently pressed. Fermentation and short aging were completed in stainless steel tanks.
This wine is meant to be consumed fresh and was not made for extended aging.
Arhonto - Rosé

Variety: 100% Malvasia di Candia
Alcohol: 13.5%
Description: Arhonto Malvasia is a fresh, lemon green colored wine, with very pronounced aromas of elderflower and citrus, with a sweet, strikingly fruity finish. This is a light-bodied, dry wine with mellow acidity.
Production: Arhonto Malvasia is a wine produced from Malvasia di Candia grapes grown at Beri. Malvasia di Candia is a semi-aromatic variety, meaning it is related to the Muscat family of varieties, therefore it has pronounced primary (muscat) aromas. The grapes were processed at a cold temperature and underwent a short maceration in stainless steel tanks. Fermentation and short aging were completed in stainless steel tanks.
Arhonto - Malvasia

Variety: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon
Alcohol: 14.5%
Description: Arhonto Cabernet Sauvignon is a dry, ruby colored wine, with a pronounced aroma of sour cherry, supported by notes of blackcurrant, dark chocolate, spices and marzipan. This is a full-bodied wine, with fine tannins and a mellow acidity. The finish is long and rounded.
Production: Arhonto Cabernet Sauvignon was produced from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grown at our estate in Rogami. Fermentation was completed in stainless steel tanks, whereas aging was done in large (28hl) barrels made from a combination of French and Slavonian Oak. Aging was done for a minimum of one year in oak barrels and one year in bottles.
Arhonto - Cabernet Sauvignon

Variety: 100% Kratošija (Primitivo)
Alcohol: 14.9%
Description: Arhonto Kratošija - Primitivo di Montenegro is dry, ruby colored wine, with pronounced aromas of cherries and fig, supported by notes of black pepper, berries and eucaliptus. This is a full-bodied wine with medium coarse tannins and medium acidity. The finish is long, red fruit dominant and round.
Production: Arhonto Kratošija - Primitivo di Montenegro was produced from Kratošija grapes grown at Beri. Fermentation was completed in stainless steel tanks, whereas aging was done in large (28hl) barrels made from a combination of French and Slavonian Oak. Aging was done for a minimum of one year in oak barrels and one year in bottles.

Variety: 100% Vranac
Alcohol: 15.0%
Description: Arhonto Vranac Special Selection is a dry, ruby colored wine with pronounced aromas of blackcurrant and berries, supported by notes of tobacco, ceder and mint. This is a full-bodied wine with fine tannis and a mellow acidity. Its’ finish is long, subtly fruity and rounded.
Production: Arhonto Vranac Special Selection is a wine produced from Vranac grapes grown at our estate in Rogami. Fermentation was completed in stainless steel tanks, while aging was done in large 28hl Slavonian/French oak barrels (70%) and in French oak, barrique barrels (30%). Upon completion of the barrel-aging, a cuvée was made from our favourite barrels and further aging was completed in bottles over the course of a year.
Arhonto - Vranac Special Selection
Vintage: 2017
Variety: 50% Vranac, 50% Kratošija
Alcohol: 16.5%
Description: Arhonto Private Reserve is a dry, ruby colored wine with pronounced aromas of blackcurrant, dried figs and fruit jam, supported by notes of vanilla, cinnamon and ceder. This is an extract rich, full-bodied wine with fine tannins and mellow acidity. Its’ finish is long and smooth.
Production: Arhonto Private Reserve is a premium wine produced from autochtonous Montenegrin grapes grown at our estate in Rogami. This cuvée of Vranac and Kratosija is an homage to tradition, as these two varieties were historically grown together in old Montenegrin vineyards. Fermentation was completed in stainless steel tanks, while the first year of aging was done in large Slavonian and French oak barrels. After the initial aging, the wine was racked into French oak barriques and aged for a further three years. Once bottled, the wine was sealed with wax and continued aging in our bottle cellar, at optimal conditions.
